Breathwork

Conscious Integrative Breathwork

As adults, we do not breathe in a healthy, complete manner. What psychology refers to as the “flight, fight or freeze” response to stress involves a decrease in the volume of oxygen taken in and an increase in the number of breaths, or a rapid, shallow breath. As we continue to bombard our body with stressful situations, we lose the ability to fully relax and a variety of illnesses or dis-ease states may ensue. Prevention lies in assisting our body to return to the state to which it would naturally go.

In a private 1 ½ hour breathwork session, you will be guided in utilizing a deeper, fuller breath supported by music designed to elicit a meditative state. These sessions combine elements of guided imagery, physical release of tension to aid in entering a more receptive state, and bodywork for emotional release, as well as, engaging the emotions, connected to events, that prevent you from living in the present..

As you allow the accompanying feelings to come into your consciousness, and follow them to their natural conclusion, the result is a deep healing and an experience of peace. Conscious connected breathing fosters feelings of self-love, gratitude, and mental clarity and, in many cases, a profound sense of unity.

At the conclusion of this work, all report feeling calmer and many relate their emotional state as one of complete peace.

Rebirthing Breathwork

Rebirthing as a breathwork technique has been utilized by 1000’s of people since the early 1970’s. Why? It is a rapid, simple, effective means to relieve stress, increase physical and mental energy and eliminate 70% of the toxins in your body all through a complete, full breath. This enables you to experience more peace and gain awareness of thoughts or beliefs that adversely affects your life. In addition, the deep full breath you experience places the body in an alkaline state, a benefit highly sought by athletes and fitness trainers as it inhibits the growth of bacteria, viruses, and other disease organisms.

The benefits derived are cumulative, meaning that your body does not return to its previous state. To the degree that you allow yourself to fully experience this; you will leave better able to effect real, permanent change.

If you are interested in improved health, both emotional and physical, a significant reduction in stress, and increased happiness resulting in more freedom in all aspects of your life, all in the first two-hour session, rebirthing is the key. If you are tired of struggling “just” to live your life and are ready to be completely responsible for everything in it and embrace the rich, full life which is waiting for you, rebirthing gives you this experience.
